Mike comes to us with over 20 years of coaching and managing hockey experience. Most recently Mike was the Head Coach and General Manager of the Ponoka Stampeders of the HJHL and before that he was a Coach with the Oshawa Generals Midget AAA's of the ETA . He also spent time as a coach & player development rep. Mike played 4 years of Junior hockey with the Bowmanville Eagles.
With the support of Hockey Canada, Ron captained, under Coach George Kingston, the University of Calgary Dinosaurs to the Canadian University Finals. This team beat the 1976 German National Team Olympic Bronze winning team. After professional tryouts with Toronto and Washington, he finished his career in the German first division with SC Riessersee in Garmish-Partenkirken. His coaching career began as a teacher and coach in the Calgary high school system and continued with various minor hockey league teams throughout his engineering career in the energy industry. He enjoys creating interests and opportunities for players to become better people through athletics, scholastics and career
Brad is a longtime Glacier Kings assistant coach who works closely with the team's defencemen and goaltenders. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he handles many of the team's scouting duties on Vancouver Island. Brad also teaches at Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School.
Eric comes to the Glacier Kings as one of their new trainers. After an early retirement from hockey due to injuries he made a comeback to play varsity hockey in Europe from 2014-2018. During his time overseas he also acted as the on ice/pitch trainer and strength and conditioning coach for the varsity hockey and field hockey teams. Away from the rink Eric is a Physiotherapist working out of Perseverance Physiotherapy and Wellness in Cumberland
